Composite numbers
Prime and composite numbers are often referred to hand in hand. Odd numbers and even numbers can be composite numbers.
What is a composite number?
A composite number is a counting number that is not a prime number. Composite numbers are numbers that have more than two factors. Composite numbers are different from prime numbers because prime numbers have two factors, one and itself whereas composite numbers have one, itself and another number. This is the composite number definition.
