Pythagoras was an ancient Greek (Ionian, actually) that was light-years ahead of his day mentally. His Theorem, the Pythagoras theorem (also known as the pythagorean theorem) is one of the most useful theorems in Geometry and math. Pythagoras theorem allows many calculations to be made about triangles. Pythagoras was the Greek philosopher and mathematician, who was so smart 2,500 years ago, that he could easily be teaching classrooms today, in this age as well!

Pythagoras theorem is a simple rule about the proportion of the sides of right triangles. The Pythagoras theorem states that:

” the square of the hypotenuse of a right Triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides of the right Triangle.”

In a right Triangle, a² + b² = c² . This is also known loosely as Pythagoras formula.

Suppose a = 4, b = 5, then:

c² = 4² + 5² = 16 + 25 = 41

c = the square root of 41 = 6.403124.

Who was Pythagoras?

The Pythagoras theorem is invented by Pythagoras. Pythagoras (ca. 582 – ca 497 B.C.) was a Greek philosopher and mathematiccian. Pythagoras’ ideas influenced great thinkers throughout the ages. Pythagoras is well known to math students for the pythagoras theorem.

Question: Computer Programming Question?

I’m in love doing math problems and math training but I can’t find anything on the internet that creates specific math problems I want to work on.
I want to create some type of program/algorithm that will process and return any type of math problems that I wish, similar to the way Math.com has their Algebra Worksheet Generator and Random.org has their Integer Generator.
I haven’t the slightest idea of where to begin. My specific questions are, what type of software, or programing/coding products will I need i.e.
1. Computer…
2. John Doe Program…
3. …any other additional needs to consider.

I have this problem for math-pre-algebra:
For an account that earns interest compounded annually, use a calculator to find the balance of the account.::::
P=$900, R=5%, T=3 years
HOW DO I FIGURE THIS OUT? PLEASE EXPLAIN SO THAT I CAN DO THE REST OF THE PROBLEMS ON THE WORKSHEET. THANX!!!!!!

Answer: The following formula will give you total amount including principle and interest.

A = P(1+R)^n, where A is total amount, P is principle,
R is interest rate per compounding period, and n is number of compounding period.

In your case, your compounding period is one year(since compounded annually), so the R should be annual rate and n is number of years.

So total would be:

A = 900(1+5%)^3

=900*1.092727

=983.45
