Math Worksheets Ks3
Question: Ks3 SAT’S – Help?
I’ve started to revise for my SAT’s but I don’t think I’m really learning anything because all of the things I don’t understand or remember stay unknown, even with the revising.
I’m reading my revision books , doing worksheets and getting my Mum to test me but I don’t think it’s actually doing anything benifitial because what I need to remember is the harder subjects, eg. trig.
How can I get the information to really sink in?
Please don’t sugest bitesize because I might commit a murder if you do.
(Oh and for my mock SATs I got :
Science : 7
English : 7 for both
Maths :
I’m sorry if I’ve waisted anyone’s time, I hope you can help me anyway. Thank you
Answer: Stop panicking, just do your best. KS testing seems largely for the sake of the school – to keep them well up in the league tables. Getting a good score will make you feel good, but your form placements at KS4 will already have been made on the basis of your performance and tutor assessments – much more reliable than small ’snapshots’ of your performance during SATs.
As for revision advice, try writing out the bits you find really difficult, gradually condensing them to bullet points and if possible down to acronyms (just initials) that make single words or phrases to represent whole concepts.
Good luck with your GCSEs. you’re bound to do them if you’re this worried about SATs…
