Math Worksheets Factoring
Question: Hey, I need help ASAP!?
So i’m taking an online math course, and I have so much to do today, so do you think you could help explain how to do this. I’ll tell you exactly what it looks like in the worksheet.
Factor. x^3+x^2+x
Answer: Factor means taking out a common feature. In this case, each of those has x, or more correctly, +x.
So you can take an +x away from everything in that, and put it on the outside of a bracket.
x(x^2+x+1)
If you multiply that out, you will get the same as before.
