Question: Lowest Common Multiple?

Ok, so at school in Math. We’re doing a worksheet on LCM.
and I forgot cause I was doing Greatest Common Factor..
But I understand how to get it.. but…how to do this?

Why are there two lines?
Cant you just have one?
Wouldnt it be the lowest common multiple = 40?
Im so confused lol..
