Question: I need help with this Math Worksheet: Graphing ?

I need help with this Math Worksheet. I just plain out don’t understand Graphing Lines in Standard Form. The following worksheet below is the one that I am having problems with. I’m not asking you to give me the answers. But just explain a couple of them in depth. It would really help to have them tonight… Its my homework.

Answer: Find two points on the line by hook or by crook. Suppose x is zero, what is ?. That’s one point. Suppose y is zero what is x? That’s another.

Draw the line.

Sometimes using x or y = -1 or 1 is easier than zero.

Question: If you know math….?

Alright, i’m sorry for posting this in the poles and quizzes sections, but I am in urgent need of help. The homework help and math section never gets looked at, so I decided it would be smart to put this in the most popular section…

I need help solving these problems using Multiplication with the Addition method.

2(x-3y)= x+4
3x+8= 5x-y

and….

1/3(2x+y)=1
x+y=4

Sorry for the inconvenience to the people who didn’t get the question they were expecting. I am not just looking for n answer. I would prefer to have the work to know how to do the rest of the worksheet. Thanks Again!

Answer: THe answer that scotlyn gave you is wrong. She didnt get it with the Addition method, plus when you plug in x and y to either equation, it doesnt add up. It would be 94=138 and that’s incorrect.
