History of Googol – Googol and Googolplex
American mathematician Edward Kasner needed to solve a math problem using enormous numbers. His nine year old nephew, Milton Sirotta, made up the term ‘ googol ‘. Dr. Kasner made up the word ‘ googolplex ‘ to Mean 1 with a googol of zeros. Googol and googolplex are more simply written in exponents. the googolplex is the largest named number.
