Question: Maths and English work at home for 10 year old?…?
Is there anywhere on the net that i can download and print out or copy and print key stage 2 maths and english for my 10 year old daughter? I want to create her own ‘shortcut’ on the computer at home so she can just go onto it whenever she likes and open up a page of work that she’ll know what to do on it. Ive been on ‘Bitesize’ and thats great but im talking more like worksheets with problems to work out etc etc..?

Algebra Worksheets Factoring

Question: Help in Algebra 1 factoring equations, please?
OK, i tried everything with these. I can get some equations, but not all of them. I don’t know why.
These are the ones I need help with:
3x² + 7x + 2
3r² -16r – 7= 5
8x² + 21= -59x
5r² – 44r + 120= -30 + 11r
b² + 5b – 35= 3b
6b² – 13b + 3 = -3
35k² – 22k + 7 = 4
10b² = 27b – 18
15a² – 3a = 3 – 7a
All of the equations are zero product equations, except for the first one. AND PLEASE, DO NOT THINK I DON’T DO MY HOMEWORK, BECAUSE I DO. WE HAVE HAD AN INTERN FOR OUR CLASS INSTEAD OF OUR NORMAL TEACHER. NEW LESSON AND A NEW INTERN, NOT SUCH A GREAT IDEA… PLUS, THESE ARE EQUATIONS FROM SEVERAL WORKSHEETS, NOT JUST ONE THING. I ONLY HAVE A FEW FROM EACH WORKSHEET
Answer: I’ll give you the first factor from each problem; you figure out the second from what I give.

(3r + 2)
(8x + 3)
(r – 6) : you can divide everything by 5 in this one
(b + 7)
(6b – 4) : there’s a fraction in this one
(7k – 3)
(5b – 6)
(5a + 3)
